The Rodeo, the Symphony and a Wedding
What's the connection between these three events, you wonder? The answer is: Clover Cliff Ranch Bed and Breakfast. We've just finished the Flint Hills Rodeo weekend, followed by a memorable Symphony in the Flint Hills. Now we're giving full attention to making next weekend as perfect as possible for a special bride and groom. We're honored that they chose to be married at the Clover Cliff.
Our guests for the rodeo weekend came to Kansas and Chase County for a number of reasons. They like a rough and tumble sport. They want to meet up with friends and family who keep this annual event on their calendars. They've heard that it's the oldest consecutive rodeo in Kansas. They have any number of other reasons to take a break and just have fun. We love having the opportunity to make them happy they chose to be here.
Guests who came to hear the Kansas City Symphony play at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve this past weekend had a different set of reasons for being here. They love having the opportunity to hear high-quality music surrounded by rolling hills, gentle breezes and 6,000 of their closest friends. Lyle Lovett's music, cowboys driving a herd of cattle across distant hills and a spectacular sunset were just some of the rewards of the day.
